My Air Compressor Will Not Shut Off. When I press the button again the light goes off on the button but the AC stays on. I have a sears air compressor that builds pressure up to 60 psi and keeps running but builds no more pressure.
I just have to turn it off manually. If your air compressor wont shut off at around 175 PSI it might be the result of a faulty pressure switch. Then open the tank drain valve on the tank.
If your air conditioner will not shut off and keeps blowing cold air it may be due to an issue with the control board also known as the PCB assembly.
Used to go to red line and stop. If the compressor stops again at the same spot even though its over the normal. If the air compressor will not shut off when it reaches the cut off pressure the pressure switch is defective. A sensor monitors the air temperature in the room and signals the control board to turn on the compressor and begin cooling.
